Continue readingIn this release, we’ve simplified adding new technicians. Firstly – no more “admin aliases”, we’re moving to a name that everyone understands: “technicians”. Note that this includes any type of user at a partner organisation, whether they are a technician or not – this isn’t introducing a new role-based permission system, although that is something that we are actively considering. In addition to the new wording, we have a new Technicians Management page that’s far simpler to use when adding, editing, and removing technicians.
Continue readingWe’re pleased to let you know that we have just released a new Mac RC agent (v3.8.1), with an improvement to iOS device enrolment and an update to the Daemon Checks for Mac workstations.
We’re also pleased to confirm that RMM now fully supports Windows Server 2022.
In addition, note the recent updates to Patch Management, with upgrades to disk encryption handling and Chrome patching – more information can be found here.
Lastly, here is another reminder that in the coming days we will be making 2FA mandatory for all RMM logins.

Handle Feature Upgrades when 3rd party AV Disk Encryption is enabled
Starting with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update release, Microsoft provides new command line parameters which specify the path to a folder that contains encryption drivers for a computer that has third-party encryption enabled. Leveraging this will reduce the possibility of encountering errors during the upgrade.
