N-able RMM: Mac and Linux Agents GA Update

We are pleased to let you know that Mac Agent v3.6.1 has been promoted to be the new Generally Available (GA) agent. We also added a new “Logout User” Automated Task for Mac workstations, to help you in your day to day management of Mac customers.

In addition, we updated Linux Agent v2.0.4 to be the new Linux GA Agent. It means that Raspberry Pi is now a fully supported device type in RMM!

Please upgrade your Mac and Linux endpoints to stay up to date and take advantage of the latest set of enhancements.

Managed Antivirus Bitdefender (MAV-BD) Update

As highlighted at the start of the week, we’ve released an update to Managed Antivirus Bitdefender – see the previous post for full details.

Important Reminder Regarding the Windows Agent Digital Certificate

As communicated previously, the digital certificate for SolarWinds® RMM will be revoked on March 8, 2021.

Please take action to upgrade to the Windows Agent v.10.9.17 by March 8 or your RMM features may cease to operate.

Devices that are online and check into the RMM Dashboard before the revocation date will automatically update the necessary services to use the new digital certificate. However, we recommend updating the Windows GA Agent so that any offline devices are not accidentally impacted. Go to ‘Agent’ > ‘Agent Auto-update Settings’ to schedule the agent update for all your devices.
