Release Take Control – Standalone Windows Console/End-User Viewer 7.50.16

  • Multi-Monitor Support: Seamlessly view and switch between multiple monitors during remote sessions. Monitors are displayed in their real positions as configured by the end user for intuitive navigation.
  • User Experience Enhancements: Modernized Chat Window and Monitor Selector Window for a refreshed interface, and improved Monitor Selection with automatic detection of monitor positions.
  • Feature Improvements: Added Device Information and Notes functionality in the Technician Console, and enabled System Shell Context Saving in the Integrated Viewer for improved session continuity.

N-sight: Windows Agent 10.14.4 Now GA

Update 5 February 2025: Please note that the Windows v10.14.4 Agent was not rolled out to all territories. This is because the intended improvement was not observed in all upgrade scenarios. We are working on a further update to resolve the agent upgrade issue that has affected some devices. Please know that devices that are using the v10.14.3 Agent are not missing any functionality compared to the v10.14.4 Agent.

We’re pleased to confirm that Windows Agent v10.14.4 is going GA and already available to partners in the first few territories. We plan to make the new GA agent available to partners in all regions over the next few days, and we encourage you to update your Windows devices to the new version at your convenience using the Agent auto-update options in the N-sight dashboard.

PME 2.12.0RC

We’re pleased to announce that a new version of PME has been released to RC today, accessible exclusively through the N-central RC patch profile option until it reaches General Availability.

This release focuses on a single enhancement: support for 24H2 Feature Updates

During our initial testing of 24H2, we observed some minor changes in the installation process. As a result, we’ve updated PME to better handle these updates, improving installation success rates.

As with previous Feature Updates, 24H2 will appear under the “Upgrade” classification, and we advise caution during this early stage. Microsoft has identified several bugs in this initial release, so unless it’s essential to update immediately, we recommend waiting for a more stable version from them in the coming months.

N-sight: Take Control for Mac Updates, New Windows RC Agent (v10.14.4)

We are pleased to highlight we’re releasing a new Windows RC Agent, v10.14.4, as part of ongoing investments in remote monitoring infrastructure. The latest Agent includes improvements to the Agent update process to ensure all workstations and servers can successfully upgrade to the latest Agent version. We encourage you to update your sandbox devices to the new RC Agent as we move towards making v10.14.4 GA in the near future.
