Reminder – MSP RMM: New Email Domain for Dashboard Alerts

We want to remind you of an upcoming change to the Remote Monitoring & Management alert emails sent from the Dashboard. As highlighted on July 6th, we’re planning to make a change during the week of July 24th: we’re retiring the now out-of-date @maxfocus.com email domain, and replacing it with a new one, @remote.management.  For example, alerts@maxfocus.com will become alert@remote.management.

To ensure there is no interruption in communications you may wish to add the @remote.management domain to your email whitelist.

Any Mail Templates that have been edited by customers to use their own ‘from’ email address will not change, and will continue to send with those customised settings.

To remind you, here are the specific changes:

  • alerts/max.alerts/maxfocusalerts/gfi-alerts/gfimaxalerts/gfimax.alerts@
    • logicnow.com
    • gfimax.com
    • gfi.com
    • logicnow.com
    • system-monitor.com
    • systemmonitor.co.uk
    • hound-dog.co.uk
    • hound-dog.com.au
    • hounddogiseasy.com
    • hounddogiseasy.co.uk
  • All change to ‘RMM Alert <alert@remote.management>’

  • noreply@
    • maxfocus.com
    • systemmonitor.eu.com
    • gfi.de
    • gfimax.se
    • gfi.com
  • All change to ‘noreply@remote.management’

  • And the display names:
    • gfi max alerts
    • hounddog alerts
    • max alerts
  • All change to display name ‘RMM Alert’

Note that billing related emails, Dashboard sign-in, and password emails do not use the ‘maxfocus.com’ domain and won’t change with this update.

We’re planning to roll this update out during the week of July 24th, in approximately one week’s time.

We appreciate your understanding for the change, and trust that the advance notice gives you sufficient time to update any settings. We’ll post another update when we start to roll out the change.
