Introducing Custom Properties in N-central Analytics Direct Data Access

We’re excited to announce a new feature in N-central Analytics: you can now create custom Device and Organization properties directly in Direct Data Access.

With custom properties, you can track data unique to your MSP. For example, you can track:

  • Windows 11 compatibility
  • BitLocker status
  • Service tiers

You can update these properties manually or automatically via scripts, giving you full control over your data.

How It Works

Analytics delivers custom property data in a lightly modeled, row-based format. Each row represents a property and includes columns for device or customer identifiers and their corresponding values.

You can use this data to filter, enrich, and refine your queries, unlocking more insights from your existing Direct Data Access views.

Patch Management Engine (PME) Update – Version 2.13.9 GA

We’re pleased to announce the General Availability (GA) of Patch Management Engine version 2.13.9.

This release contains the completion of 25H2 support, additional changes required to adopt the recent Microsoft patch title changes and changes to improve the resilience and robustness of a PME component.

  • Full support for Windows 11 25H2 upgrades

    Previous release (2.13.6) introduced support for upgrading to Windows 11 25H2 via Enablement Package for devices already on Windows 11 24H2.

    This update extends support to older Windows 11 editions and eligible Windows 10 devices, enabling in-place upgrades using ESD files.

  • Adaptation to Microsoft Patch Title changes

    Enhanced processing, identification, matching, and filtering of patches based on OS and build number.

  • Improved resilience of File Cache Service Agent

    Better recovery from failed downloads for increased robustness.

Advanced Notice: Update to N-sight Managed Antivirus for Bitdefender Agent 2.58.6.2

We’re pleased to inform you that we’ll be publishing an update for our Managed Antivirus agent. Starting Tuesday, December 9th, the agent will be updated to version 2.58.6.2, and it will be available in all regions by the end of the week.

This update enhances features, transitioning from Disinfectonly to Disinfect, and includes other improvements for product stability.

During the maintenance window:

  • All devices remain protected.
  • Definition updates will continue as normal.

However, the following N-sight (MAV-BD) functions will be unavailable:

  • Accessing Dashboard Settings options or the Antivirus tab
  • Opening Protection Policy screens
  • Installing N-sight (MAV-BD)
  • Upgrading the MAV-BD engine
  • Running N-sight (MAV-BD) reports
  • Accessing Quarantine
  • Running commands from the contextual menu

Additionally, N-sight (MAV-BD) checks may fail during this period.

This release introduces optimizations aimed at improving performance, enhancing stability, and ensuring better maintainability.

Release Take Control – Integrated Agent 7.50.25

This release provides a targeted fix for a CPU compatibility issue introduced in version 7.50.24.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where BASupSrvcCnfg.exe could display an “Illegal Instruction” error on devices equipped with older or entry-level CPUs that do not support AVX2 instructions.
  • The error occurred when Windows attempted to load a specific .dll containing AVX2-compiled code. Version 7.50.25 restores compatibility for these CPU classes.
  • Removes the persistent dialog shown on affected devices.

This issue impacted a limited and isolated set of devices with specific hardware profiles. No other changes were made in this release.

Partners using affected hardware are encouraged to update to version 7.50.25 promptly.

We will be releasing an update to the Managed Antivirus for Mac agent, starting Tuesday, December 2nd, with availability across all regions by the end of the week.

🛠️ Key Fixes and Improvements:
Resolved an issue that blocked large uploads to WeTransfer.com, addressing intermittent endpoint network connectivity loss, improving overall stability and performance, and fixing missing installer buttons in macOS 26 (Tahoe) light mode.

Release Take Control – Integrated Agent 7.50.24

This release focuses entirely on stability for the Windows Agent for TC Integrated. We addressed the core issues introduced in versions 7.50.22 and 7.50.23 that affected memory usage and log generation.

Fixes

  • Resolved a memory leak that was identified.
  • Fixed a problem where log files grew abnormally large under certain workflows. Log generation has now been normalized and capped to expected levels.

Large-Scale Data Export now available for Vulnerability Management

You asked for it, and we continue to deliver! With this improvement for Vulnerability Management, handling large-scale vulnerability data is now easier and faster. Large-scale Data Export is now available.

You can export up to 1,000,000 rows (previously 10,000) from the All Detections and All Vulnerabilities views in Vulnerability Management for N-central and N-sight. Exports are delivered in CSV format and optimized for performance, so even large datasets process reliably in the background without timeouts.

  • Integration Ready: CSV format for BI, analytics, and reporting tools.

How to Export

  1. Navigate to Vulnerability Management.
  2. Open All Detections or All Vulnerabilities.
  3. Apply filters as needed.
  4. Click Export (top-right).
  5. Download the file via the link provided once processing completes.
