On Wednesday, 23rd of September, we will be releasing an update to Web Protection Agent and Web Service on EU-Central Region. The release of this version will be announced separately for each region.
This update introduces a new .NET version for both Web Service and Agent; thus, it will only be supported by the devices that support the .NET 10 version. This update will only support Windows Modern Operating Systems. Designed for Windows 10+/Windows Server 2016+ and higher, this version will allow updates/upgrades to newer versions.
🛠️ Key Changes:
- This update no longer supports Windows Legacy Operating Systems, including Windows 7, Windows 8.x, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2.
- Upgrade to .NET 10 on Web Service
- Upgrade to .NET 10 on Agent
- Engine replacement for Agent
- Other minor bug fixes and internal enhancements.
🔧 Resolved issues:
- This update should resolve the issues with correct site filtering on modern day Browsers (by category, by blacklist / whitelist, reputation)

Web Protection will remain disabled for new accounts until the fix is rolled out to all regions, as previously announced here.
