Since the Public Preview launch, momentum hasn’t slowed. Driven by partner feedback, Empower conversations, and what we’re seeing in real-world use, we’ve expanded what N-zo can see, what it can answer, and how quickly it gets you there. The headline addition is Patch Expert, but there’s a lot more landing alongside it — faster performance, bigger data sets, and smarter, time-aware prompts. Here’s what’s new, and a look at what’s coming next.

Patch Expert
Patch Expert brings patching data directly into your conversation with N-zo. Instead of digging through patch policies, patch grids, or device lists, just ask a question in plain language, N-zo analyses your patch data and returns the answers you need in seconds.
Currently supporting Linux and macOS patch management, Patch Expert helps technicians:
- Quickly identify the devices with the most missing critical and high-severity patches
- Highlight the assets that should be prioritised for patching
- Uncover devices that repeatedly fail patch installations, and the most common failure patterns behind them
- Surface inactive or stale devices that may no longer be receiving patches
- Pinpoint the devices presenting the greatest security risk based on available patch data
What makes Patch Expert particularly powerful is that it goes beyond simple reporting. Rather than just listing devices or patches, it surfaces trends, patterns, and priorities , so technicians can focus on the actions that will have the greatest impact on security, compliance, and operational health.
And we’re just getting started. Support for Windows patching and third-party application patching is coming soon, significantly expanding the scope of questions Patch Expert can answer. We’re also building deeper historical analysis, time-based investigations, and operational reporting, giving technicians even more visibility into patching activity, scan trends, reboot behaviour, and other key patch management insights.
Copy and export tables to CSV
Sometimes you just want to grab an answer from N-zo and drop it into an email or document. Now you can. Copy any table in a click, or export straight to CSV, and get on with your day.
Larger data sets and better performance
N-zo can now handle up to 10,000 assets in a single ask. Exact capacity will vary based on your query and data size, and when a limit is reached, N-zo will tell you clearly so you know more data is available. And we’re not done. Capacity will keep growing as we go.
Time-aware prompts and quality enhancements
N-zo now understands time. Prompts like “last 30 days” or “last month” work just as you’d expect, making it easier to spot trends and pull the exact slice of data you need. On top of that, dozens of smaller quality improvements, shaped by partner feedback sessions, surveys, and our newly enhanced in-chat surveys, add up to a noticeably sharper experience. Please keep the feedback coming, it genuinely shapes what we build next.
What’s next: General Availability in August
With all this progress, N-zo is heading into General Availability at the end of August, bringing faster performance, larger data volumes, and more capabilities. It also introduces the very first N-zo action: the ability to reboot assets right from a conversation. GA will roll out to everyone automatically, with clear communications along the way so you know exactly what to expect. This is a big moment for N-zo, and it’s only the beginning of what’s ahead.
