We are pleased to announce an upgrade to the Windows Agent, so that servers and workstations are automatically running the latest version, v10.14.4 GA. This version contains the latest feature and security updates, including an improvement to the Agent upgrade process itself. The auto-update started end of last week and will run over the coming days as it gradually updates all devices to the latest Windows Agent. To receive the update, devices will need to be online and connected to the N-sight dashboard.
This agent version incorporates the new Modern Agent component, introduced late last year to enable new features like the Assets View and Vulnerability Management, as well as improve the reliability Automated Tasks, with additional capabilities coming soon.
The new agent component improves upgrade reliability and resolves an issue some partners experienced where some devices lost connection to the dashboard during upgrades. With this 10.14.4 release, we’re seeing devices successfully reconnect to the N-sight dashboard, ensuring continuous monitoring and management.
In summary, this Windows Agent strengthens connectivity and keeps Windows devices current and secure.
Note: The upgrade process is happening automatically in the background, it may take a few days before all devices are updated. Some Dashboard instances will show Agent v10.14.3 as the current GA version. This will be updated in the next couple of days to show 10.14.4 as the GA version.
