The following Improvements included in this build:
- Added support for macOS 15 Sequoia.
- Antimalware: Optimized the antimalware scanning mechanism to minimize system boot delays when scheduled scans are missed.
- Antimalware: Added support for On-access options Scan local files and Scan network files.
The following issues were fixed in this build:
- Antimalware: In a corner-case scenario, the product could experience difficulties in operation, displaying the message: “The Antimalware module is disabled.”
- Antimalware: The Custom Scan task on /Users folder remained in progress instead of failing if Full Disk Access was not approved.
- Antimalware: The progress bar did not show up in the GUI when performing a custom scan.
- Antimalware: In certain situations, Antimalware exclusions were not applied. This issue has been fixed.
- Antimalware: On-demand scan tasks no longer run twice at their scheduled time.
The new Bitdefender engine version should not require any reboot. If a reboot should be needed, it will be displayed in the N-sight dashboard. Ensure the delay and reboot settings in your policies are set accordingly for your customers.
