We’re pleased to announce the update of the SolarWinds Backup Cloud Management service to version 19.8, bringing the following feature updates and bug fixes:
SolarWinds Backup for Office 365 version 19.8
We are introducing support for Office 365 mail and calendar attachments larger than 4MB.
SolarWinds Backup – Cloud Management Service version 19.8
Storage Location Settings – We have implemented a new feature that allows you to specify the default backup storage location (region\country) when adding new customers to the https://backup.management console. This will allow our multinational customers to more granularly control where backup data is stored.
High-Frequency Profile Schedules – We have improved the High Frequency Backup ability of Backup Profiles to now allow greater choice of backup frequencies. All data sources now have the following options:
- Every 24 hours
- Every 12 hours
- Every 6 hours
- Every 4 hours
- Every 2 hours
- Every 1 hour
- Every 30 minutes
- Every 15 minutes
Defect Fixes
- We have addressed an issue with remotely launching the Backup Manager where the remote connection requests from the management console only attempted to communicate with the first address listed for the storage node.
- We have resolved a recent issue where email notifications from the management console could be sent with truncated spaces in the subject and/or body.
- We have corrected an issue where Virtual Disaster Recovery screenshot emails were delivered empty if the default language was set to German.
SolarWinds Backup – Backup Manager Client version 19.6 SP2
Version 19.6 SP2 is the current version of the Backup Manager Client that is compatible with version 19.8, and it has been released via Auto Update to all compatible standalone Backup devices. SolarWinds RMM and N-central integrated backup devices are scheduled to be updated at a later time. There is no version 19.8 of the Backup Manager Client planned.
