We’re pleased to confirm this week’s SolarWinds RMM release is now available to customers in the Asia Pacific region and in selected European countries. The US / Americas region and the majority of the European locations, including the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and the Nordic countries are to follow in the next few days.

Please note we’re promoting Windows Agent 10.7.3 to be the new GA Agent – see the release notes below for details on what’s included in the version update. We recommend you update your devices to this new Agent version at your early convenience. 

The release also includes two brand new Apple Mac checks: one to report on FileVault status, and one to monitor Time Machine backup status.

In addition, there’s an update to the Backup & Recovery Selection Report, so it now shows the backup type (‘Batch Backup’ or ‘Archive Batch Backup’), as well as the time the backup completed. We’ve also updated the name of the report so it’s now “Backup & Recovery Restorable Selection Report”. These enhancements are designed to make it more obvious that the report includes archive type backups, in the event this is the largest restorable file for a device.

Note to MAV-Bitdefender users:  The Bitdefender update is being applied as a product update.  The Bitdefender engine version will be 5.3.34.789.  Your Managed Antivirus engine version can be found within the Managed Antivirus Check (Bitdefender)  under “More Information”.  The engine version can also be found within the Managed Antivirus Protection report by ensuring the “Engine Version” column is added to the report.  The product will update automatically to the new version overtime as it checks into the servers.  The Bitdefender update, unlike VIPRE, will not require a reboot in order for the registry key to be applied.
