MSP RMM Release: New Feature Policy Report, Invoice Design Update

We’re pleased to let you know that the next MSP Remote Monitoring & Management dashboard release is rolling out to the first set of territories. This week’s update contains a brand new “Feature Policy Report”, so you can see at a glance which feature policies your devices are set to. It also includes a design update to the RMM invoice to make it easier to read, along with a bug fix to the ‘Firewall status’ script check.

Below is a screenshot of the new report. You can use it to make sure that your clients and their devices are using the intended Managed Antivirus, Take Control, Risk Intelligence and Web Protection policies, making it easier to confirm your devices are configured correctly, and to spot any admin errors. The new report is available on the ‘Reports’ dropdown menu on the top menu bar.

This week’s release also includes a design update to the RMM invoice. It contains the same information as before, but shows the usage data at summary and device level in a much clearer, easy-to-read layout.

Here’s an example of the top section of the updated invoice (fictional company, dummy data):

The release will be available in the Asia Pacific region and in selected European territories shortly. The other regions, including the US, UK, Benelux, Germany, France and the Nordic countries will follow in the next few days – we’ll keep you posted of our progress.

Dashboard v6.43.2
FEATURE: Introducing a new ‘Feature Policy’ Dashboard report to show assigned feature policies
UPDATE: Updated RMM invoice with an improved design to show usage data at summary and device level more clearly
BUGFIX: Ensure the ‘Firewall status’ script check fails correctly if the firewall has been disabled

KNOWN ISSUE: The new Feature Policy Report can be slow to load when selecting ‘All Clients’ for larger Dashboard accounts. We’re looking into making the report load faster for larger device sets.
