Hi Everyone,
I am pleased to announce that Dashboard v5.41.6 and Agent v9.5.2 (RC) are being released overnight, so that they will be available in advance of the working day tomorrow, Friday 21st of February.
This is a routine Service Release focused on systems performance, bug fixes and maintenance, including an upgrade to Take Control to use the latest TeamViewer instance (v9). What’s more, this upgrade allows us to address two popular Take Control feature requests:
- Show the device name in the Take Control session window and taskbar, a top 10 customer request on IdeaFactory
- Supress distracting TeamViewer systray notifications for users with Take Control installed on their machine
(Both enhancements require agent v9.5.2 and a restart of the TeamViewer service.)
In addition, we’re making a new “self-service” seed loading option available for Managed Online Backup, to simplify and speed up the seed loading process – please refer to “Managed Online Backup Seeding” in the help file for details.
Full release notes for Dashboard v5.41.6 and Agent v9.5.2 (RC) are below.
