With this release, Linux moves closer to full parity with Windows and macOS in N-central and N-sight. Technicians can now manage, patch, assess vulnerabilities, run scripts, and start remote access sessions on Linux endpoints using the same workflows they already know. Remote access is the newest piece of that story.
From Assets View, Linux endpoints are now reachable through Take Control, closing a gap that previously forced teams to reach for out-of-band tooling.
How to turn it on for your account
To enable Take Control for Linux in your account, click the Request Linux remote access button on the Asset Details slide-out panel for a Linux device in Assets View.

This will prompt the team to enable the feature in your account. There are a couple of points to bear in mind, as highlighted in the popup dialog after clicking the button:

Once Take Control is enabled for your account, you can initiate a remote access session in the same way as for Windows and macOS. Note that the feature uses the modern agent infrastructure and is therefore only available via the Assets View screen.
Assets View, more capable with each release
Remote access for Linux is the latest capability to land in Assets View. The modern surface continues to gain reach, and the workflows technicians rely on day to day live increasingly in one place.
