MSP Manager: Ticket & File Experience Update

Overview

This release introduces a set of improvements focused on ticket visibility, faster workflows, and better file handling, along with platform upgrades and key bug fixes.

The goal is simple: reduce friction in daily ticket work.

What’s New

1. Ticket Preview from List View

You can now preview ticket details directly from the ticket list, without opening the full ticket.

What this gives you

  • Faster triage of tickets
  • Less context switching
  • Better visibility when handling multiple tickets

Key details

  • Preview opens in a popover
  • Includes summary and device information
  • Window size is preserved

2. Attachment Preview (PDF, Images, TXT)

Attachments can now be previewed directly inside MSP Manager, without downloading.

Supported

  • PDFs (full viewer)
  • Images (zoom in/out)
  • Text files

What this gives you

  • Faster investigation
  • No need to download files
  • Better workflow continuity

Additional capabilities

  • Navigate between multiple attachments
  • File-specific controls (zoom, pagination, etc.)

3. Ticket ID Visibility & Copy

The internal MSP Manager Ticket ID (GUID) is now:

  • Visible in Additional Fields
  • Copyable with one click

4. Custom Status Colours

You can now assign custom colours to ticket statuses.

5. Platform Upgrade – Angular 19

We’ve upgraded MSP Manager to Angular 19, for:

  • Improved performance
  • Better maintainability
  • Foundation for future UI improvements

6. New Public API

  • Appointments List API: Enables retrieval of appointment data for integration scenarios.

Fixes & Improvements

  • Shift+Tab navigation fixed in dropdowns
  • Hourly Retainer period grouping now saves correctly
  • Time entry display fixed in tickets

  • IMAP mailbox selection issues resolved
  • SuperUser password setting via API fixed
  • noreply email delivery issues resolved
  • EmailMaster serialization exception fixed
