N-sight Enhancements: Patch Management Feature Status Column, Password Prompt Changes, Windows Service Checks Streamlining

These updates reflect product enhancements guided by the direct input of our partners, enabling us to focus development efforts on what matters most in real-world environments. We value the trust placed in us and, where possible, actively translate operational feedback into product improvements that support your success.

Here’s a short video to help you take advantage of the today’s enhancements and what’s about to release in the next couple of weeks…

The following updates will roll out gradually over the coming days to all partners:

New Patch Management Feature Status Column

A new patch management status column in the north pane makes it easy to see install status and issues across devices, helping you quickly spot deployment gaps and take action where needed.

This follows the recent update to add patch management policies to the Feature Policy Report, for improved oversight of patch management settings across your estate.

Password Prompt Changes

Updated dialogs now use checkbox-based confirmation for actions that previously required password re-entry, helping reduce friction and speed up workflows without compromising user intent.

This update is also in preparation for the upcoming support of Entra ID.

Update to ‘Edit/Delete Checks Like This’ for Windows Service Checks

We’ve streamlined the ‘edit/delete checks like this’ experience for Windows Service Checks. Users now see only the selected check, eliminating unnecessary noise, and can click anywhere on a row to speed up selection and reduce workflow interruptions. Compared to the previous view on the left, the image on the right shows a more refined version.

This follows a recent UX update to this dialog to improve row selection for improved ease of use and efficiency.
