The following Improvements included in this build:
- Antimalware: Added support for On-access options Scan local files and Scan network files.
The following issues were fixed in this build:
- Antimalware: Fixed an issue that caused slow performance when scanning applications during installation.
- Antimalware: The Custom Scan task on /Users folder remained in progress instead of failing if Full Disk Access was not approved.
- Antimalware: In certain situations, Antimalware exclusions were not applied. This issue has been fixed.
- Antimalware: In a corner-case scenario, the product could experience difficulties in operation, displaying the message: “The Antimalware module is disabled.”
- An internal issue caused the BDLDaemon component to stop functioning.
- Antimalware: The product caused high memory usage when accessing a large number of files.
- The graphical user interface became sometimes unresponsive due to an issue with the EndpointSecurityforMac process.
- Antimalware: The progress bar did not show up in the GUI when performing a custom scan.
The new Bitdefender engine version should not require any reboot. If a reboot should be needed, it will be displayed in the N-sight dashboard. Ensure the delay and reboot settings in your policies are set accordingly for your customers.
