We are excited to announce the latest enhancements to Cloud Commander, our multi-tenant solution to manage Microsoft’s cloud designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). These new features will help you enhance security for Microsoft 365 users and Azure. You can now view all Conditional Access Policies for your customers’ tenants, set end users’ Out Of Office replies, and configure sub-services in a user’s license.
Conditional Access Policies
Proper tenant configurations contribute to a strong security posture. Conditional Access Policies are a key line of defense in protecting Microsoft 365 tenants. However, viewing and managing these policies across all your tenants requires a lot of time and high levels of access. We aim to simplify this process.
Building on our Tenant Security Settings released in August, Cloud Commander will now read all Conditional Access Policies for partner tenants and display them. This allows Cloud Commander partners to see all their policies in one place.
Review and investigation can be performed directly within the Cloud Commander user interface, leveraging our Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model to delegate appropriately. For more details, please refer to our documentation.
Out Of Office Replies
Administrators know the challenge of setting a user’s out of office reply when someone is out unexpectedly. This task needs to be done quickly and often for sensitive reasons. While it has become possible to do this in the Microsoft 365 admin center, many level 1 and frontline teams lack the permissions in the end user’s tenant to perform this task. In these situations, the technician either needs to follow a procedure to gain access or escalate a ticket to a senior team member. Both scenarios cause delays and stress.
With this release, you will be able to set a user’s out of office reply in Cloud Commander. Try it out today!
Modify Service Plans within Licenses
While many partners use all aspects of a Microsoft 365 license, there can be valid reasons to turn off some of the sub-features. Cloud Commander now supports modifying service plans.
Stay tuned!
We believe these new features will significantly enhance your experience with Cloud Commander and help you manage and secure your tenants more effectively.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve our platform.
