Cloud Commander: Exciting New Features Available September 13th

We are thrilled to announce the latest enhancements to Cloud Commander, our multi-tenant Microsoft 365 management platform designed for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). These new features will empower you to manage Microsoft Teams for your users, bring your co-managed “non-CSP” tenants into view alongside their partner tenants, and for Direct CSPs you can now gain visibility into your CSP client’s Azure subscriptions to help manage them more effectively.

Microsoft Teams Support

Managing Microsoft Teams environments across multiple customers has never been easier. With our new features, MSPs can now:

  • Create and manage Microsoft Teams
  • Add and manage members within Microsoft Teams
  • Create and manage channels
  • Adjust settings for both Teams and channels

All these tasks can be performed directly within the Cloud Commander user interface, leveraging our Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model to delegate tasks appropriately. For more details, please refer to our documentation. Existing partners add the new permissions to grant access to these new features to the staff that need them.

Support for Non-CSP Tenants

We understand that not all customers are part of your MSP’s  / Cloud Service Provider (CSP) agreement.  Co-managed, Non-CSP tenants are tenants without a partner relationship, or tenants that have a relationship to another partner other than you. Some of your clients may have multiple partners, pay-as-you-go agreements, or Enterprise Agreements. Customers may use you for a variety of services but may not want to join their tenant into your CSP agreement.  You can now onboard and manage non-CSP tenants within Cloud Commander.

This enhancement also includes several usability improvements in Microsoft Cloud Access (MCA), making it easier to add new customers and gain visibility for the tenants you manage.

Direct CSPs can now discover Indirect CSP Azure Subscriptions

We are excited to introduce to our Direct CSP partners automation of indirect Azure subscription discovery. This feature allows Direct CSP’s to discover all indirect CSP subscriptions within a tenant, streamlining the management process. Allowing Direct CSP’s and the indirect CSPs that work with them to have better alignment and control over their budgets.

Detailed documentation is available to help you get started with this new capability.

We believe these new features will significantly enhance your experience with Cloud Commander and help you manage and secure your tenants more effectively. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to improve our platform.
