We have identified a problem in N-central 2023.7 where, once upgraded, probes will use an excessive amount of bandwidth downloading files for their cache from N-central. At this time, we recommend not upgrading N-central to 2023.7, or if you have upgraded already, prevent additional probes from upgrading by using Administration > Defaults > Agent & Probe Settings > Upgrades, to set Probe upgrades to Never, and propagate this setting.

We anticipate releasing a hotfix for 2023.7 in the next few days to address this issue. Support also has a code drop available that can be applied to any probes already upgraded to 2023.7.

As a result, the hosted upgrades scheduled for October 6 have been rescheduled to October 13.
