Passportal Release – Auto Provisioning

Posted on July 21, 2023 by danielsylvester723b460d01

New feature – Auto Provisioning

We are excited to announce the ability to configure Auto provisioning for Pro and Site users, this will allow you to configure Azure and/or AD to automatically create and disable users based on the folder or administrative unit assigned to the Microsoft user this feature will then create the users as Site or Pro user with the permission level and security group you configured. This removes the manual nature of creating and disabling users for you client Site accounts, just set it and forget it.

For more information please check out our Knowledge Base

Simply select the folder or folders you wish to configure for auto create and select the permission level and security groups these users should be created with.

When ever a new user is added to this folder they will be automatically created as a user in Passportal with the mapped permissions and security group, similarly when ever a user is removed from the folder it will be disabled in Passportal automatically

Have some functionally you want to see included, please let us know at our Ideas center,

We have released fixes for the following issues

  • Fixed an issue with some sections replacing special chars with HTML code
  • corrected an issue with docs counter including disabled item
  • Fixed an issue where credentials created in the extension could not have custom credential types applied
  • Fixed an issue where users “My Vault” was not accessible on android devices
