N-able plans to release Cove Data Protection version 22.12 on Wednesday, Dec. 14. In response to customer requests, this release brings the capability for the Documents backup and recovery feature to support MacOS devices, in addition to Windows.

Please note that Document-only backup is not the same as full workstation device backup. Documents is a lightweight, automated way to protect specific types of business files and folders on a workstation, no matter where they are stored on the device. By contrast, Workstation backup also protects system state, and is required for bare-metal recovery of workstations.
