We are excited to announce that N-able N-central integration with DNS Filtering, powered by DNSFilter, is now generally available for all partners.  DNS Filtering will require your N-central server to be running 2021.3 HF1 or higher.

Integrated DNS Filtering allows you to:

N-able DNS Filtering is designed to protect your customers from online security threats and inappropriate content using a combination of security heuristics, real-time threat recognition, and domain categorization – powered by an artificial intelligence scanning engine. N-able DNS Filtering gives you insights into web-based threats from within the N-central dashboard—while providing an additional layer of security, greater network visibility, and robust reporting.

• Increase visibility into your customers’ security posture with the dashboard and reports

You can initiate a DNS Filtering trial in N-central from the left-hand navigation menu under Integrations>Integration Management.

Once the activation completes, the status will change to “In trial”, and a new “DNS Filtering” menu item will appear under the “Integrations” menu in the left-hand navigation menu.

You can modify N-able DNS Filtering permissions to manage access.  By default, any users with the “Default Administrator” role will have this permission set to “Manage”.
