ADVANCE NOTICE: EDR Windows and Mac Agent Update

We are pleased to announce that Wednesday, November 3, the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) product will be releasing new agents for both Windows and Mac. The Windows agent will see an update to 21.6 SP2 (21.6.5.1072) and the Mac agent will see an update to 21.5 SP1 (21.5.4.5860). We strongly recommend upgrading these agents as soon as possible to provide the maximum level of protection available.

New and improved in Windows 21.6 SP2 (21.6.5.1072):

  • Enhanced Protection: Early detection of the use of CobaltStrike and other attack frameworks.
  • Bug Fix: After a Windows reboot the endpoint fails to boot and shows this error: “The operating system couldn’t be loaded because a critical system driver is missing or contains errors. \WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\SentinelOne\ELAM\SentinelELAM.sys”
