SolarWinds^® Backup release 21.2 brings further improvements to the Backup for Microsoft 365 user interface, as well as mandatory two-factor authentication.

With this version, the Microsoft 365 backup and restore progress bar is live, providing real-time visibility to how many users’ backups have been processed, how many items have been processed, and the data size for each backup.

Mandatory 2FA in effect

In line with industry best practices, all users of SolarWinds^® Backup are now required to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in order to continue using the product. You can review the user management tab to see which of your users have already taken this step.

Any users that have not already done so will be guided through 2FA configuration when they log in.
