Today we’re happy to announce the release of SolarWinds Backup version 20.6, which includes the official general availability of our new automated Recovery Testing feature, as well as customer-requested enhancements to the feature.

Recovery Testing

The beta for this new billable feature is officially over, and it is now generally available. In response to customer feedback, the following enhancements are also now available:

• We have increased the server size that can be enrolled in Recovery Testing from 500 GB to 1 TB, allowing larger server backups to now be automatically tested on schedule.
• In addition to testing every 30 days, a new option is available for testing every 14 days, for those who want more frequent scheduled recovery tests.
• The dedicated Recovery Testing dashboard that was previously available only in the standalone edition of Backup is now also available in the N-central integrated version.
• Other ongoing bug fixes and improvements.
