We’re pleased to announce a brand new RMM Agent for Mac, v3.0, as the new release candidate agent. With this update, we’re bringing the functionality of the standalone Mac-MSP interface into the RMM dashboard, as we continue to ensure we offer a true “single pane of glass” platform for MSPs who manage Apple workstations.
Tasks that used to be performed in the separate Mac-MSP dashboard can now be found right where you would expect them – the same Tasks tab you use for Windows devices.
In addition, Agent 3.0 includes Mac Notification Center support and an all new task status display for when tasks are running over the login window.
The new Mac Automated Tasks in RMM also include our Managed Patch solution. This lets you patch all Apple OS and security patches, as well as patches from over 200 third-party titles. All patches are tested and vetted by our Mac Agent before being approved for deployment. This saves the Windows-centric MSP from having to know whether a specific Mac patch should be approved or not, and helps avoid costly remediation in the event of a bad patch. The full list of patches and approval status is available in our online user manual.
We’re excited to bring you this integration update, delivering a much-enhanced tool set for monitoring and managing Apple computers in RMM.

Managed Antivirus (Bitdefender) update: We will be adding a new URL to the update process for Managed Antivirus Bitdefender (MAV). This will impact both product and definition updates. If you have implemented network security or firewall rules in your environment for MAV Bitdefender, please ensure that *.remote.management is added to your whitelist.
