Hi Everyone,
I’m pleased to announce that Dashboard v5.42.3 and Agent v9.5.4 (RC) are being released overnight, so that they will be available in advance of the working day tomorrow, Friday 4th of April.
This is a routine Service Release focused on systems performance, feature enhancements and bug fixes, including a security enhancement to the login process to help repel so-called “brute force attacks”. We are also adding support for MozyPro to the backup check, in direct response to customer votes on http://ideas.gfi.com.
In addition, ServiceDesk customers will be able to turn on a ServiceDesk link in the System Tray Application, which in turn allows clients to open ServiceDesk tickets directly from the ‘systray’ on their machines, making it even easier to request assistance.
Full release notes for Dashboard v5.42.3 and Agent v9.5.4 (RC) are below.
