GFI MAX RemoteManagement – Dashboard v5.42.2 Release – App Control enhancements

Hi Everyone,

I’m pleased to announce that Dashboard v5.42.2 is being released overnight, so that it will be available in advance of the working day tomorrow, Friday 28th of March.

This Service Release is focused entirely on enhancements to App Control, the cloud app management feature released at the start of the month. We’re particularly thrilled to announce the following update:

  • App Control now supports Microsoft Exchange Online, in addition to Office 365’s Small Business and Midsize Business Plans
  • When adding a service, you can now enter the monthly user cost in local currency for detailed usage costs and projections

We have also added the ability to refresh the north pane in the Dashboard for an up-to-date user license count, as well as various bug fixes and cosmetic tweaks to the interface.

We are very encouraged by the interest in App Control since its launch as release candidate only a few weeks ago, with one the biggest trial uptakes of any new feature – thank you for all your interest! We expect to have an update next week with regards to pricing and general availability.
