Linux Patching: New Pending Patches View

New Pending Patches View: See What’s Next, Before It Installs

We’ve added a new Pending Patches view to the Linux Patch Management area, giving you a single place to see everything that’s queued up to install across all assets.

This view is designed to help technicians answer one simple question quickly: what’s about to happen next?

What’s new

Centralised view of all pending patches

  • See a consolidated list of pending patches across all managed assets.
  • Quickly understand what is still outstanding and what’s next in the patching pipeline.

Clear insight into upcoming installs

  • Instantly identify patches scheduled to install imminently or overnight.
  • Reduce surprises by knowing what will run before it runs.

Bulk cancel actions

Select and cancel pending patches individually or in bulk when priorities change or issues are identified.

Usability improvements

Alongside the new Pending Patches view, we’ve shipped several usability improvements to make day‑to‑day patch management easier:

Hide dashboard widgets

  • Declutter your workspace by hiding widgets if you don’t need them.
  • Focus only on the information that matters to you.

Side panel upgraded to an overlay panel

  • The side panel is now a full overlay for improved readability and focus.
  • This panel provides detailed patch metadata and Linux dependency information in one place, without losing context.
