This release introduces new end-user access capabilities, automated device lifecycle management, expanded APIs, and platform hardening across the Cloud environment.
New Features
Exclusive Direct Links for End-User Area

- Exclusive direct links can now be generated for the End-User Area, simplifying controlled access and onboarding scenarios. When adding a new Device you can bind it to End Users, so it automatically relates with these users after installing TC on the Device.
Automatic Deletion of Inactive Devices

- Administrators can now configure automatic deletion of inactive devices, including:
– Configurable inactivity thresholds
– Daily automated execution
– Full audit log tracking - This settings in under a feature flag, so you need to request us to turn it on.
New & Enhanced APIs
- This release includes API improvements and extensions, such as Device and Group API enhancements, OS-aware Applet download API, and Improved Audit Log API.
- GET /devices endpoint for retrieving lists of devices, filtered by parameters such as group ID.
- PUT /device/{device_id} endpoint for updating individual device attributes (e.g., name, group, customer details).
Please double‑check any previously generated Connect links, as the latest release introduces an updated and more secure method for generating them.
Because of these security improvements, older links may no longer function correctly. If you are still using an older link, simply go to the Admin Area and generate a new, updated link to ensure full compatibility going forward.
Security & Identity Enhancements
- Improvements to OpenID / EntraID handling and synchronization
- Improved handling of special characters across email, chat, and SSO
Platform & Stability Improvements
- Installer and device naming enhancements
- Improved request handling when devices are deleted
- Backend performance optimizations
- Audit log accuracy improvements
This release strengthens automation, integration, and security across Take Control Cloud while improving overall platform reliability.
