Release Take Control – Integrated Viewer 7.50.26

The latest Take Control – Integrated Viewer 7.50.26 update ensures full compatibility with recently updated Take Control agents, strengthens security with FIPS 140-3 compliant cryptography, and delivers improved stability. This release helps partners maintain compliance and seamless remote access.

Improvements

  • FIPS 140-3 compliant algorithms: updated cryptographic handling to use FIPS 140-3 certified cryptographic modules, aligning the Viewer with the FIPS work delivered for Take Control agents.
  • General bug fixes and stability improvements.

Important notice

  • Windows Viewer version 7.50.26 can only connect to Take Control agents running version 7.50.26 or newer.
  • Connections to earlier agent versions are not supported.

More than 99% of Take Control agents are already updated to version 7.50.26, minimizing potential impact.

Recommendation: Partners should keep both the Viewer and agents updated to the latest version to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
