Summary:
To align with SentinelOne’s platform-wide enhancements and strengthen endpoint security, N-able will automatically enable the “Local Upgrade/Downgrade Authorization” policy toggle at the account/site level across all SentinelOne consoles starting September 28, 2025.
This follows our earlier global policy-level enablement. However, some accounts did not inherit the global setting due to policy inheritance configurations. Since SentinelOne strongly recommends keeping this setting enabled, we are now extending it to all accounts and sites.
Key Impacts & Actions Required:
- Manual Configuration:
If your accounts or sites do not inherit the global policy, this setting will now be updated at the account/site level. - Automation Review:
Review your current automation workflows to understand how this change may affect upgrade/downgrade processes. Adjust scripts and processes accordingly.
