Cove 25.2

The new functionality to the M365 solution is allowing partners to have easier management of their backup environments.  Additionally, deeper visibility into VDR statistics and Fortified copies will bring more awareness.  The team is excited to allow more flexibility for our partners in their restore operations across a variety of operating systems.

Restore and Fortified Copies

Virtual Disaster Recovery Statistics Fix

An issue where Virtual Disaster Recovery statistics were not displayed for certain devices has been resolved.

Improved Restore Only/Reinstall Experience

Users can now download Backup Manager binaries for all supported operating systems from the “Restore Only/Reinstall” menu in Device Properties. Previously, binaries were only available for the device’s original OS (e.g., Windows). This improvement ensures more flexibility in managing devices across different operating systems.

Azure Disk Size Optimization

We’re introducing Azure Disk Size Optimization for both current and future customers using our Standby Image in MS Azure. By using optimized disk sizing and provisioning strategies, this enhancement significantly reduces Azure storage costs. The new update provisions disks based on the actual disk size, rather than the original machine disk configuration, providing better cost efficiency in maintaining and running standby images in Azure.
