N-sight RMM: New Windows GA Agent, Retirement of a Legacy ‘Remote Support’ Feature

We are pleased to let you know that we are promoting Windows Agent v10.13.1 to be the new GA Agent, replacing Agent v10.13.0. It includes support for an upcoming feature that gives you more control over how to apply Windows Service Checks when using Monitoring Templates, as well as a bug fix and general hardening.

In addition, we will be removing a legacy remote access feature from the console, highlighted in the screenshot below. This option uses older technology and has already been excluded from new accounts for some time. Over the coming weeks, we will be removing it from the remainder of accounts as well. Any partners who still use this ‘remote support’ feature are encouraged to use Take Control and Remote Background Manager instead for accessing customer endpoints.
