On Oct. 19, N-able plans to release Cove Data Protection version 22.10, which will include enhancements to the management console, to Microsoft 365 protection, and to the Standby Image disaster recovery feature.
Management Console
The customer management area has been enhanced to display child customers below each customer, for a clearer view of the customer hierarchy.
In addition, a drop-down customer selection view has been added to the Add User wizard.
Microsoft 365 protection
We would also like to provide advance notice that in the upcoming November release we plan to simplify the role-based ability to initiate restores of Microsoft 365 data. Currently, only a Super User with Security Officer designation is able to do this. Beginning in November, any Security Officer will have permission to kick off a recovery, provided they have global administrator credentials for the Microsoft 365 domain.
Additional back-end improvements and bug fixes have been implemented this month to further improve performance.
Standby Image
The Standby Image feature has been enhanced to provide more flexibility in VM storage locations, including new support for restoring to Cluster Shared Volumes.
