Patch Management Engine (PME) Release – Coming Soon

We’re pleased to announce that the upcoming release of PME v2.7 has been scheduled for WC July 4th. This version of PME has a number of improvements and bug fixes as listed below:

PME Bug Fix

  • Fixed issue with Cumulative Update Preview patches causing error “patch not found in WUA catalog”
  • Fixed issue with Patch Status monitor failing with “An item with the same key has already been added”

PME Improvements/Adds

  • Added config changes to support optional PME engine delays within N-central
  • Restored Windows 11 detection after Microsoft name change
  • Improved Moq dependency

Third-Party Patch

  • Improved OS architecture detection for Wireshark installs (32/64 bit)
  • Updated command to handle uppercase .EXE format to handle new applications where they are published in this format
