With enhancements to navigation, support workflows, and compliance readiness, N-central 2026.1 continues to simplify day-to-day operations while maintaining the stability teams rely on.

CMMC-Ready N-central Version for On-Premises Environments

N-central now includes a dedicated CMMC-ready version, “N-central for CMMC Compliance” to support organizations operating in environments that require CMMC Level 2 compliance.

• Designed to help meet U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity requirements
• Supports environments handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract Information (FCI)
• Available for on-premises deployments

UI Refresh: Cleaner Layouts and Improved Navigation

N-central 2026.1 continues the multiphase UI refresh with updates focused on usability, consistency, and visual clarity, without introducing functional changes.

What’s New

• Lightened page layouts with reduced visual noise
• Updated form styling, including simplified buttons and clearer tab indicators
• Polished high-traffic components such as tables, filters, and action buttons
• Improved lefthand navigation behavior, including collapsed-by-default menus and streamlined icons

These updates make N-central easier to navigate while preserving familiarity for existing users.

Authenticated In-Product Support Chat

N-central now includes an authenticated in-product support chat experience, replacing the previous unauthenticated flow.

Key Benefits

• Support chats are securely tied to a verified N‑able Login
• Seamless transition for users already signed in to N‑ableMe
• Guided account creation for users without an existing login
• This enhancement improves both security and support experience consistency, ensuring interactions are tied to verified identities.

NetPath End-of-Life (EOL)

Support for NetPath is being retired across all N-central environments.

What This Means

• Existing users who are already licensed for or actively using NetPath can continue using it without interruption
• NetPath will no longer appear for environments that have never used or licensed the feature
• NetPath will not be available in new N-central installations or newly created Service Organizations.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

N-central 2026.1 includes a range of bug fixes and performance improvements across core platform functionality, helping improve stability, reliability, and day-to-day usability.
