January brings to Adlumin a trio of improvements with a new data source integration welcoming ESET into the fold, we are also strengthening reliability through an SDK Upgrade for our Duo integration and last but not least Adlumin Breach Prevention for Microsoft 365 gets a clarity-focused rename as Adlumin Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR).
Adlumin Identity Protection
Adlumin Breach Prevention for Microsoft 365: Fresh Identity as Adlumin Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR)
“Adlumin Breach Prevention for Microsoft 365” has been renamed to Adlumin Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) to bring the product in line with industry terminology and to more clearly communicate its core focus on identity protection. This update reflects current market dynamics, where organizations are facing a surge in identity‑driven threats such as account takeovers, compromised credentials, and unauthorized access.
This is a naming‑only change, no functionality has been altered. ITDR continues to ingest Microsoft 365 telemetry, build behavioral baselines for each user, and respond intelligently when activity deviates from expected patterns. As part of the rename, you’ll notice updated terminology throughout the product experience, including the dashboard/UI, billing references, the SOAR playbook name, and the comments shown in detection notifications, all now referencing “Identity Threat Detection and Response.”

Adlumin Integrations
ESET: New Data Source Integration ESET is now available as a new data source within Adlumin, expanding coverage and strengthening visibility across managed environments. This new addition provides centralized monitoring, enhanced threat visibility through a preconfigured integration designed for quick onboarding. While the integration is live today, native detections for ESET will be released shortly, and in the meantime, users can benefit from immediate telemetry ingestion and the ability to build custom detections that surface high‑value insights. This helps streamline deployment while delivering faster, more actionable threat context across customer environments.

Duo: SDK Upgrade
Adlumin’s Duo support is being refreshed with an upgrade to the Duo 5.5.0 SDK, rolling out starting February 2026. This update enhances long‑term reliability and ensures Adlumin remains aligned with Duo’s latest authentication and identity standards. Users can expect smoother identity telemetry, more consistent signal handling, and improved compatibility as Duo evolves throughout 2026. This upgrade is seamless and requires no action from customers.
