N-central 2025.2.1 Generally Available 

We are pleased to make N-central 2025.2.1 Generally Available! This interim release update enhances Asset View with a new resizable Asset Details Panel to improve information visualization, delivers additional support for application integrations, security and compliance, and contains essential bug fixes that address usability, security and performance.

Important Notice for OnPrem Partners 

If you’re upgrading from a version earlier than 2025.1, note that N-central now operates on AlmaLinux instead of CentOS. This means your upgrade will involve a complete operating system migration. Be sure to review the updated system requirements and release notes before proceeding to ensure a seamless transition.

Asset Details Panel in Asset View 

A new resizable panel gives you deeper insight into individual assets by organizing and presenting a rich set of data points. You can adjust the Asset Details panel freely by clicking and dragging, making it easier to work efficiently without switching views or losing context.  For more info check out: 

HaloPSA Integration and Automation Templates Preview 

HaloPSA Integration and Automation Templates (AT), now available as a Preview. This phased rollout allows us to gather valuable feedback and ensure these features meet your workflow needs before broader release. 

API Coexistence for Autotask Integration 

To ensure flexibility in transitioning from SOAP to REST APIs, both will coexist within N-central. This minimizes operational disruptions and allows partners to migrate gradually. Interested partners can preview the REST API integration today. 

Agent Compatibility for Windows Server 2025 

The latest update of the N-Central windows Agent now offers enhanced support for Windows Server 2025 assets, enabling seamless deployment and reliable performance across next-generation Windows Server environments. 

CMMC Foundations 

This release sets the foundation for secure, CMMC-compliant operation, reflecting our long-term commitment to industry standards. Major updates include  

  • Upgraded Struts Library
  • Enhanced Authentication Using Access Tokens for better security.
