Introducing Cove 24.1

This month’s release includes new capabilities and enhancements to Cove Data Protection’s Continuity features, including a public preview of Standby Image to VMware ESXi.

Cove Continuity

The Standby Image DRaaS feature is being expanded to include VMware ESXi as a recovery location, in addition to the previously available Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure options. This new capability is now in public preview, allowing Cove users to try it at no charge and provide feedback prior to its general availability.

In addition, this release brings the ability to automatically apply the source VM configuration to the recovery location (CPU and RAM size) for both Standby Image and one-time restore across Hyper-V and ESXi recovery locations.

Finally, in response to customer feedback, we have enhanced the reliability of Cove’s automated Recovery Testing feature by resolving the cause of the “Generic network error: Failed writing received data to disk/application.”
