SolarWinds RMM: Features and Updates Release, Mar 16

We’re pleased to share the details of this week’s RMM update, which contains a set of customer support bug fixes. We’re also happy to confirm that the staged roll-out of the RMM security enhancements was completed last week, and all customers can now take advantage of the updated security settings – for more information, click here.

BUGFIX: Resolve problem installing macOS 10.13 patches
BUGFIX: Resolve issue with Trend ScanMail failing to get AV version in the Antivirus Update Check
BUGFIX: Resolve issue with Trend Micro definitions in the Antivirus Update check
BUGFIX:  Corrected an issue with Managed Antivirus Bitdefender competitive removal on XP machines
BUGFIX:  Fixed intermittent issue causing the dashboard to show the wrong version of the Managed Antivirus Bitdefender engine within Managed Antivirus checks
BUGFIX:  Corrected an issue where Managed Antivirus Bitdefender on access scanning was not handling packed files correctly in some cases

UPDATE: New ‘Trusted Devices’ option with Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
UPDATE: Option to revoke trusted devices status from the User Accounts dialog
UPDATE: Option to revoke trusted devices status from the user settings dropdown menu top right
UPDATE: Allow Access to Take Control and Remote Background Management with IP Address Verification via new option in Security settings
UPDATE: Add IP addresses with /32 subnet to white list when adding via IP address verification
UPDATE: See and edit usernames via “Edit Your Details” in the user dropdown menu
BUGFIX: Show Automated Task description in dashboard language and not in English when bulk adding the task
