8:30AM Pacific — Our engineering team has identified an unusually high volume of connections hitting some of the inbound filtering servers at our GMY2 data center.  This is slowing those servers’ responses, which may have the effect of delaying a small number of inbound messages sent through that data center.  We are investigating further.

05:00AM Pacific — The load on the servers has returned to standard levels after a period of raised spam activity. This had caused a small number of delays in message acceptance for a short period. Our monitoring indicates that the issue has been resolved, and additional investigations carried to to ensure this does not happen in future.
