Dear Customers,
We’re pleased to announce that Dashboard v5.52 is being released overnight, so that it will be available in advance of the working day tomorrow, 18th of December. With this release, Agent v9.8.1 replaces v9.7.2 as the production agent and becomes available for auto-update. Agent v9.8.2 is the new release candidate (RC) agent.
In this release we’re addressing a number of priority customer items, including the launch of a fully rewritten ‘Site Concentrator’ feature to solve performance limitations with the original version, an upgrade of Take Control to use the latest version of TeamViewer (v10), a security enhancement allowing you to set a Dashboard session time-out, as well as with several bug fixes, including a speed issue with Internet Explorer that was affecting some customers when switching between device views in the north pane.
We’ll also be turning the current RC agent GA so that recent updates including the VIPRE Business 7.0 AV Check and the Managed Online Backup upgrade can roll out across devices. Finally, the release includes an update to the MAX Backup Check to ensure compatibility with the latest MAX Backup product version.
This will be the final MAX RemoteManagement release of the year. We already have our next release lined up for 2015, and look forward to hitting the ground running in the New Year!
With Kind Regards,
The MAXfocus Team
