this is just to let you know that we are continuing our analysis of the causes of dashboard performance problems experienced by customers.
We have identified an issue where the backend was accessed more frequently than required when processing Managed Antivirus information received from the Agent. We have rolled out a correction that will reduce impact at peak times.
We have positively identified an issue that caused I/O contention in the backend throughout the day and additionally at certain times every hour when processing data reported by Performance Monitoring Checks. This had a knock-on effect on the general performance of the system. The issue only manifests itself when certain other conditions are met, which is why the dashboard speed was reported differently on Friday versus Monday. As this could now be demonstrated, configuration changes have been applied to remediate, balancing with other requirements. Our monitoring shows a positive effect, also taking into account the required conditions to trigger the contention.
We will continue to monitor and work on upgrades, more on that to be announced at the appropriate time.
