The maintenance is now complete. Unfortunately, the maintenance took longer than expected and we had to switch to our backup infrastructure. However, we are hopeful that the move to an alternative storage engine as well as the tuning of the database software itself and filesystem will improve the throughput of our backend database storage and alleviate the performance problems that have been observed over recent days.
