Overnight tonight we will be making OSX Agent v1.0.0 RC available to all predominately English language instances (US, UK and Ireland, Australia and Asia) so that it is available before start of working day tomorrow, Friday 8th March. Unfortunately, due to a delay with translations, it will not be possible to release the Dashboard updates required to support the OSX RC Agent to the non-English language instances in EMEA (France, Germany, EU and PL) until next week. Therefore, the OSX RC Agent will be made available on these instances along with Dashboard 5.32 before start working day Tuesday 12th March.

Updating from OSX Agent 0.7.0 Beta1
Updating a device from 0.7.0 OSX Agent Beta1 to the 1.0.0 Release Candidate must be performed manually by downloading the 1.0.0 Release Candidate from the Dashboard and installing over the top of the existing installation. Future updates to the OSX Agent will be made available using the same auto-update mechanism as the Windows agent.

OSX 10.5 (Leopard) Support
The 1.0.0 Release Candidate now supports OSX versions 10.5 to 10.8 on all Intel-based Macs. However, the functionality of the agent on OSX 10.5 (Leopard) has only been verified using Virtual Machines. We have every confidence that the agent will work as expected on physical 10.5 hardware but should any issues arise, please do not hesitate to feed them back to us through the Support Forum.
