07:20 PST — The MAX Mail control panel is currently responding very slowly to login requests and to  certain other functions.

We have determined that the problem is at least in part due to very slow response times  for database queries made from the control panel to one of our data centers in Germany.  Our engineers have begun work on redirecting some of those queries to an alternative data center.

Message processing is not affected  by the speed of the control panel or by the database related changes.
