Scheduled Maintenance for Mail Services

Our engineers will be performing upgrades to the backend database cluster used for configuration data for the MAX Mail service.  We have scheduled a maintenance window for this work on Saturday, August 18, between 11:30 PM and midnight Eastern time, during which time the control panel (including all branded sites) will be offline for approximately 10 minutes.

Mail flow will not be affected.

Additionally, we will be upgrading the I-3 mail server (mail.i-3.com) used by a small number of MAX Mail customers.  This will require a brief maintenance window early Sunday morning, August 19, starting at approximately 2:00 AM Eastern time.  During the maintenance window, which we expect will be less than 15 minutes in duration, the mail server will not accept messages, and the webmail will be offline.  GFI MAX MailProtection customers will be able to access their queued messages, and will be able to send outbound messages, during the maintenance period via the GFI MAX MailProtection control panel.  The maintenance work on the I-3 mail server should have no direct impact on the GFI MAX Mail services.

We will post any significant updates regarding these maintenance windows to this site.
