Over the past year, we have implemented a number of updates to the database schema, storage engine and physical hardware of the GFI MAX RemoteManagement system instance in US to alleviate performance problems. We will shortly be continuing this process by upgrading the database software in the US system instance to further improve performance. In the meantime, we are going to begin the process of implementing these updates in all other territories, starting with the UK, to improve performance of these instances also.
As such, there will be a non-disruptive maintenance window tomorrow evening, Thursday 16th February between 7pm and 9pm GMT to update the database schema, storage engine and physical hardware of the GFI MAX RemoteManagement system instance. As these upgrades will be performed on the slave database server in advance of the application switching to use this as its master database, any downtime will be momentary and no other customer impact is expected as a result of this maintenance
